Ballarat Pony Club Child Safe Global Statement
Ballarat Pony Club (BPC) is committed to ensuring that all children and young people within our community are safe and protected at all times. Ensuring child safety will be the primary focus of all our decision making in relation to the sporting activities we are providing to the children who are members of our club.
BPC is committed to providing a child-safe environment where all children and young people are respected and empowered to have a voice in decisions that affect them now and into the future. Particular attention will be paid to cultural safety of Aboriginal children and children from culturally and/or linguistically diverse backgrounds.
Every adult stakeholder of BPC has a responsibility to understand their role individually and collectively in ensuring the well being and safety of all members of our club. BPC adopts a zero tolerance to any form of abuse towards a child. Any matter of concern regarding the welfare of a child will be reported to the appropriate authorities immediately.
