We are a group of families that enjoy a range of equestrian sports and love coming together for our monthly rallies. Our riders range in age from five to twenty-five years and have a diverse range of equestrian interests and abilities. |
Our rallies
|
Rallies are held on the 1st Sunday of the month (except January) and commence at 9:30am. Members ride in groups based on ability and age and each group has three sessions per rally. Rallies offer instruction in dressage, show jumping, cross country, mounted games and horsemanship and we have guest speakers and demonstrations throughout the year. Our rallies align with the Pony Club Victoria (PCV) Syllabus of Instruction with riders actively encouraged to work through their PCV certificates. |

Our club offers fabulous facilities set within picturesque Victoria Park. Our riding facilities include: five all weather, permanent dressage arenas two fully fenced, all weather, show jumping arenas, Cross country course from PCV Level 5 to 4*, 136 permanent, steel yards Three bay horse wash and horse crush |

The Ballarat Pony Club extends its heartfelt appreciation to the City of Ballarat for their generous support through the Community impact Grant Program (CIPG).
This invaluable assistance has enabled us to undertake the research, development, and production of our comprehensive 2024-34 Master Plan. This plan, consisting of a succinct summary document complemented by an in-depth background document, has been made possible through the funding provided by the City of Ballarat. The Master Plan holds significant importance for the future trajectory of the Ballarat Pony Club, serving as a strategic blueprint for our growth and development in the coming years. It is through initiatives like the CIGP that community organisations like ours are empowered to realise our vision and contribute meaningfully to the advancement of our community.
